Timing is Everything

Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by! When I first started my reselling I made the mistake of listing Halloween costumes in early September. Unfortunately they just sat there and did not sell until a week or two before Halloween. When listing your items think about when the person would need the item most? For example, did it just rain? Then it is perfect timing to list those rain boots your kids have outgrown. Is it beach/pool weather? Then list those bathing suits and swim toys.  I listed some holiday decorations at the beginning of December and had multiple people wanting to buy within minutes of posting. Another example is kids clothing, it is best to list jackets, sweaters, jeans, etc.. in the winter months when people are most likely looking for that type of attire. Shorts, tees, tanks, sandals.. post those in the spring. As for toys, they sell year round, but you will get the most activity in early December when people are doing their Christmas shopping.
